My name is Pat Catalano and I make bags. Four years ago I was hiking through the Adirondacks when my backpack strap failed. Without money to buy a new one I started making one, on April 28th of 2022 the first pack was created. Since then I've quit my job, invested thousands in machines, acquired a work space and become full time bag guy.

I specialize in custom packs based around people and spaces. My last custom pack was for a customer's boyfriend who loves nothing more than fishing in Lake Luzerne and loons (the Bird.) So I went to Lake Luzerne and spent an evening camping on its shores. I washed the fabric that the bag would be made of in the lake and then dove to the bottom to get a small bit of dirt to sew into the bottom of the bag. Upon sunset I took my small inflatable raft out into the center of the lake to watch the sunset and check out those loons. I openly wept as the Adirondacks overwhelmed me with their beauty..... And then I took that emotion back to the sewing room and created one hell of a bag.
